GBU-57 MOP

Model: GBU-57B

US GPS-guided massive penetrator designed for hardened and deeply buried targets. The weapon weighs approximately 30,000 lb and contains a 5,740 lb high-explosive warhead. Fourteen GBU-57 weapons were used against Iranian nuclear facilities during Operation Midnight Hammer in June 2025, marking the weapon's first operational use. Range, terminal speed and blast radius are simulation parameters because the weapon is a gravity-delivered penetrator rather than a powered stand-off missile.
