Burevestnik
Model: 9M730
The 9M730 Burevestnik ("Skyfall") is a Russian nuclear-powered cruise missile designed for virtually unlimited range and evasion of existing missile defense systems. Powered by a miniature nuclear reactor, it can fly for thousands of kilometers at low altitudes with unpredictable trajectories. In October 2025, Chief of the General Staff Gerasimov confirmed successful flight tests, during which the missile flew over 14,000 km and remained airborne for about 15 hours. Though carrying a relatively small nuclear payload (estimated 0.5–1 kiloton), Burevestnik’s strength lies in its strategic unpredictability and global reach. It can be launched from multiple platforms and loiter in the air before selecting its target, making it uniquely suited for penetrating hardened or shielded defense networks. The system remains experimental and highly classified. Буревестник — это российская крылатая ракета с ядерной энергетической установкой, не имеющая аналогов в мире. Она способна находиться в воздухе часами, преодолевать тысячи километров и обходить любые системы ПРО. Испытания завершены в октябре 2025 года.
